Greg was absolutely fantastic. The first time I went to see him, he told me I didn't have a case, but to come back if something developed. It did, and when he believed it was something worth pursing, he did. Yes, there were times when I was frustrated and overly emotional, but that is the nature of a custody case. He knew when to tell me to stop worrying and when to give me some time to calm down. He was aggressive, straight forward, and I believed he really cared about my outcome. No, he isn't the most inexpensive attorney you will find, nor will he consider a payment plan or take credit cards but you get what you pay for. I suspect he doesn't make any concessions regarding financial arrangements, because he doesn't have to. He has enough expertise and experience that he doesn't need a case. He takes cases to win them. He knew when to be aggressive in the court room and when to let my ex husband dig his own hole. Just short of kissing babies, he was super politically savvy in the court room. You will spend what seems like a very frustrating amount of time prepping with him, but it pays off. Getting up to testify was a breeze after all of the exercises he put me through in his office. I hope to god that I never have to go through anything similar to what I did again, but if I do, I will absolutely call Greg.

"Once again, you have proved to be a true friend, giving advice for what you truly believe is best for me, and keeping a difficult crisis from being worse then it was. I appreciate your direct honesty and concern."

"To say my burden has been lightened, is a drastic understatement. Thank you for taking part in what appears to me, as another miracle in my life. Your professional skills are so admired and appreciated."

Marguerite

"I am writing this letter to express to you my sincere appreciation for all that you did for my son, Roger. It is my sincere belief that without your energy and enthusiasm and your belief in my son, we would not be sitting here at this time hoping that we have heard the last of this unpleasant situation."

"This is a long overdue "thank you" for all you've done to keep our family together. Words can not express our gratitude to your commitment in finalizing Alessa's adoption. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts."

If you are reading this review, then you are probably seriously considering Gegenheimer to be your attorney. You are also probably in a very sticky situation and you need someone strong and experienced to set things right. Look no further---Gegenheimer is THE ONE. And, let me just say this: yes, his fees are quite high. Our family spent many thousands of dollars on our particular custody case, and IT WAS WORTH EVERY CENT. You know the old saying? "You get what you pay for." In Gegenheimer's case, that saying couldn't be more true.

You really have to see Gegenheimer in action to fully appreciate his professionalism. And, he won't put you on the stand cold turkey, either. You will spend quite a fair amount of time with him going over every single detail of your situation. He will also train you in what to expect (and what not to expect) and in what to say.

If you want someone who will coddle you and tell you everything is going to be alright, Gegenheimer isn't the one for you. He gets straight to the heart of the matter and squeezes the life force out of the person you are up against.

I love to hear my friend talk about Gegenheimer. She says, "He is very unassuming, and I thought he was just another shark. When I saw him in court, I was really impressed! Her ex's attorney was cheap and you could tell he hadn't been an attorney for very long."

Don't ever doubt Gegenheimer for one second. He knows all about the different judges you will deal with, and he is a good judge of other attorneys. He really does know what he is doing!
